YOUR FLOURISH EXPERIENCE

Here are some tips to help make your Flourish experience as easy and hassle-free as possible…

PROGRAMME

The times for each day are as follows:

Conference 1 · 19–20 August

Wednesday, 19th August:6:30pm – 8:30pm
Thursday, 20th August:9:00am – 4:00pm

Conference 2 · 21–22 August

Friday, 21st August:6:30pm – 8:30pm
Saturday, 22nd August:9:00am – 4:00pm

Both conferences run the same programme — simply choose the dates that suit you.

BENEFITS OF ARRIVING EARLY

  • Find parking close to the venue
  • Avoid queues
  • Have a coffee with friends
  • Check in your kids without hassle
  • Check out the Flourish Market

CHECK-IN PROCESS

Check-in opens at 5:00pm.

  • Bring your ticket to the conference (Please have it VISIBLE on your smartphone OR or print out the ticket that was emailed to you by Quicket).
  • When you arrive, look out for our friendly volunteers in the parking lot who will be ready to help you with registration. Exchange your ticket for a wristband. After that, head straight to Entrance 3. If you miss our volunteers in the parking area, no problem, there will also be a registration team at Entrance 3 to help you.
  • If you've bought a ticket for someone else, make sure you pass it on to them so they can get into the conference, especially if the ticket was purchased in your name.
  • If you have bought a ticket for Day 1 only, your wristband can be collected at the Flourish Queries Station.
  • If you've forgotten your ticket at home, go to the FLOURISH QUERIES STATION, which is also located at entrance 3.
  • Doors to the main auditorium open at 6:00pm (there is no booking of seats prior to 6:00pm).

KID'S PROGRAMME

If you're unable to organise a babysitter, there is a kids program available for children aged 3 – 12 at conference 2. The cost is R120 per child, and tickets for the kids programme are available online.

If you are a mom with a new baby or a toddler under 3, we are so glad you are coming to Flourish. We have beautiful mom's rooms on ground level for easy access, where you can feed, change and care for your baby/toddler while still staying in touch with what is happening in the main auditorium. Access is via the foyers – see the conference map for more details.

TLC AREA

If you are someone in need of some extra TLC, we want to make Flourish enjoyable for you! If you are very pregnant, suffer from a severe illness or ailment or require wheelchair or differently-abled access, let us know, and we will do our very best to assist you – contact us at flourish@cityhill.co.za.

MEALS

To make things easier for day 1, you can pre-order your evening meal on Quicket (the same place you purchased your ticket). Pre-orders close at midnight on Sunday, the 16th of August. If you'd prefer, you're welcome to bring your own picnic supper to enjoy with friends. On day 2, we'll be providing a teatime snack and a light lunch.
